About UCB
United Community Builders Community Development Corporation, known as United Community Builders (UCB), was established in 2009 by a group of concerned citizens in Boone County, Missouri.
This group saw neighbors struggling to meet basic needs — food, clothing, health and wellness. Inspired to build our community, a collaborative effort was created by pooling resources with United Community Cathedral Church to establish a not-for-profit organization to combat these issues.
UCB is a faith based IRS designated 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization located in Columbia, Missouri.
Our Vision
United Community Builders envisions a united community, working together to equip all low-income, at-risk, and minority children and families to rise above poverty and become successful and self-sufficient in life.
